Arbor Day Event at Full Cycle Tree Farm!

Nancy Livingston and A-F 4th Graders Celebrate 20 Years!

This is the 20th year Nancy Livingston has planted trees in the spring with help from the Adams – Friendship school district 4th grade students. It started with the help of Nancy’s good friend, Peggy Werner (who happened to be a 4th grade teacher) and DNR forester Nina Stensberg. The first group of 4th graders came out to the tree farm to learn about forestry in the forest, Wisconsin logging history, and of course each student helped plant a tree. Through the hard work and efforts of many, including DNR forestry staff, WWOA members, and friends of Nancy’s this tradition has survived for 20 years! Nancy would like nothing more than for each student to take away the importance of a working forest and how they can make a difference just by planting a tree.
