Thank you for your interest in the Tree Farm program in Wisconsin!
There is no cost to joining the Tree Farm program in Wisconsin. The basic requirements include owning at least 10 acres, and having a current forest management plan for your woodland that meets the AFF standards for certification.
To have your woodland certified, a forester that is a certified Tree Farm inspector reviews your management plan as they walk the property (often with the landowner). The forester then makes a recommendation for certification if the minimum requirements are met.
