About the event
Our 2024 event is Saturday, August 3rd, at the Welsch Tree Farm of Gary Welsch and Jodi Polzin, Outstanding Tree Farmers of 2023. Located 20 miles northwest of Crivitz, the Welsch Tree Farm will host walking tours and a wagon ride tour. Features include: special sites and highlights of the Welsch property, red pine management, forest pest management, and bedrock geology of the property and surrounding area. Welcome refreshments open at 8:00am. Main events from 830am - 2:00 pm, with an additional optional demonstration at 2:15pm.
Pre-registration for this event is required. Deadline July 26th. Registration fee covers morning refreshments, lunch and a field tour booklet. Register online or by mail. Open to public. Family-friendly.
Outdoor event. Dress for the weather! Terrain may be uneven.
